It is a variety of medium grain rice, typical of the low Veronese suitable for the preparation of risotto and fine dishes. Its grain are solid with a roundish shape and since it stays compact and preserve its special taste that well lend itself to prepare vegetable soups, timbale and rice salads.
Small grain, rich in starch, excellent for risotto (also for pilaf cooking).
