Rouvè is a Superior Barbera d'Asti DOCG made from organically-grown grapes, cultivated with the utmost respect of the environment, without the use of herbicides, chemical fertilizers and other chemical products. This Barbera d’Asti DOCG Superiore is made from grapes harvested by hand in a small, single Barbera vineyard, known as “Vigneto Serra”, planted in Valle Terpone in 1967.
Aroma: Aromas of red fruits, cherries, cassis, strawberries and notes of tobacco.
Tasting: On the palate, the wine features fruity flavours with ripe tannins, great balance and complexity.
Pairing: Serve Rouvè Rovero with lamb cutlets, richly roasted meats, game, pork, steaks and cheeses, such as blue cheese, gruyere, and fontina.

The history of Azienda Fratelli Rovero starts at the end of the nineteenth century. The last two generations continued the family tradition expanding the company and using farming techniques that guarantee safe and natural products. The organic farming has been extended to the whole production over the years, representing now the company’s strong point as an example for many farmers.
