This Spumante Brut is a sparkling wine made from high-quality Chardonnay grapes, selected and harvested only when the right ripeness and acidity is reached. According to Charmat method or Metodo Martinotti, the second fermentation and the long ageing take place in temperature-controlled tanks to get a fine and persistent perlage as well as enhance the wonderful primary aromas of this grape variety.
Aroma: Golden straw yellow in colour, it features delicate scents of flowers and tropical fruits.
Tasting: The taste is balanced, with a great freshness. Pleasant softness. Intense and persistent wine.
Pairing: It pairs with aperitifs, appetizers, first courses, cheese, fish, vegetable pies, omelettes and delicate dishes. Serve at 6-8°C.

Tenuta Scarpa Colombi is a winery located in Lombardy. Its vineyards cover 36 hectares across one of the two most important Italian wine areas: the Oltrepò Pavese hills in Lombardy and Nizza Monferrato area in Piedmont, where Tenuta La Ghignona estate is located.
Bonarda and Barbera are the main wines, of which new versions have been experimented, but currently the company is focusing its efforts on the production of DOC Pinot Nero dell'Oltrepò Pavese and Pinot Nero Rosè Spumante Cruasè regulated by the DOCG Oltrepò Pavese Metodo Classico consortium.
