This sparkling Spumante whose given name is "Blanc de Blancs" results in the best interpretation of a Chardonnay vineyard. The soil and microclimate, the manual harvesting, quick delivery of the grapes to the winery and the subsequent pressing represent key elements to produce this high-quality wine. Its production is regulated by the DOCG Oltrepò Pavese Metodo Classico trademark.
Produced with Metodo Classico, it undergoes fermentation in bottles for at least 36 months acquiring unique characteristics.
Our challenge for the future is to succeed in spreading the knowledge about the Italian wine production, and in particular the one of the Oltrepò Pavese area. Roberto Colombi - Owner
Tenuta Scarpa Colombi is a winery located in Lombardy. Its vineyards cover 36 hectares across one of the two most important Italian wine areas: the Oltrepò Pavese hills in Lombardy and Nizza Monferrato area in Piedmont, where Tenuta La Ghignona estate is located.
Bonarda and Barbera are the main wines, of which new versions have experimented, but currently, the company is focusing its efforts on the production of DOC Pinot Nero dell'Oltrepò Pavese and Pinot Nero Rosè Spumante Cruasè regulated by the DOCG Oltrepò Pavese Metodo Classico consortium.
