LA GHIGNONA BARBERA

  • Piedmont DOP Barbera coming from the ancient vineyards “Fico” and “Brichet”, dated back to 40-60 years ago.
    Aroma: Intense ruby red colour, with an intense, complex flavour featuring notes of blackberry, ripe raspberry and liquorice.
    Tasting: On the palate, it is dry, warm and persistent, with velvety and pleasant tannins.
    Pairing: Pair with rich dishes such as braised or grilled meat, game, pasta with meat sauce. The Colombi family has always been proud of this great wine. Serve at 18°C.

  • Tenuta Scarpa Colombi is a winery located in Lombardia. Tenuta Scarpa Colombi’s vineyards covers 36 hectares located in one of the two most important italian wine areas, in the Oltrepò Pavese (Lombardia) and in Nizza Monferrato (Piedmont), where is located Tenuta La Ghignona. Bonarda and Barbera are the main wines, of which new versions have been experimented, but now the strengths are all focused on the Pinot Nero and the DOCG Rosè classic method sparkling wine.
