The history of the Rebasti family, owners of Poggio Rebasti winery goes back to the end of 1800, when Pietro Rebasti started cultivating vines and producing wine on a small hill in the municipality of Montescano, part of the kingdom of Italy. This passion for viticulture was handed down from father to son until the 1970’s when Ermanno Rebasti, current owner of the farm, personally entered the vineyard and cellar with the clear will to continue with the family’s philosophy and values. Poggio Rebasti seeks excellence in wine production, day after day, through the care of details in the vineyard, in the cellar and in the relationship with the environment.
