  • Colomba cake is a classic for Italian Easter. Made in the shape of a flying dove, this seasonal sweet treat's original name is ‘Colomba di Pasqua’, which is Italian for Easter dove. Traditionally made on Good Friday, it is eaten all over Italy at Easter.

    Pair with Moscato d'Asti or Passito.

The Perbellini bakery story starts 130 years ago since when, in 1891, Giovanni Battista Perbellini writes the first page of his recipe book ‘Pasta Lievitata’ (yeast dough). One of the recipes is his own version of ‘Nadalin’ an ancient and traditional Veronese cake, that he calls Offella d’Oro®, still nowadays the key product in Perbellini’s bakery range.

Today Perbellini has a wide production of fresh pastry, puff pastry, sourdough pastry, biscuits and pralines.
