Piccona is a “traditional” Barbera d'Asti DOCG produced from 100% Barbera grapes with a 20 days fermentation in concrete barrel with a daily racking air. After the malolactic it is left to rest for 12 months in concrete barrel and then bottled.
Aroma: Fruity with hints of red fruits, cherry and plum.
Tasting: strong, tannic, full-bodied and warm; it has a ruby red color with garnet reflections.
Pairing: mainly with first dishes as Mushroom Tajarin, Plin Ravioli and red meat based dishes.
