Lombardy
he landscape comes in infinite variations within its large territory: the Lombardy region ranges from the Alps to the countryside, from art cities to tiny hamlets rich in history. Italy’s big lake district (there are more than that fifteen lakes). Lombardy is also the perfect destination for those looking for a dynamic, exciting holiday without getting bored. The cuisine of Lombardy is rich and varied, with solid and rustic flavours that well combine with frigid temperatures and that tell of a close bond with nature and its territory. Recipes passed down from generation to generation are relive through modern reinterpretations yet respectful of traditions.
Brera Milano
BreraMilano 1930 dates back to 1905 when Angelo Grioni opened his first confectioner in Milan at Porta Nuova. Together with the successful confectioner Giovanni Cova, his son Antonio and daughter Rosa carried on their father's business and moved the pastry shop to Via Francesco Hayez. By a stroke of genius, the three real master confectioners decided to home-make the "Panettone" cake following the old Milan recipe, according to the deep-rooted Milan tradition. Nowadays, BreraMilano 1930 is qualified as "the brand renewing the tradition", evidence that true excellence lasts over time.
