Arborio Rice 1Kg


The Arborio rice is an Italian variety of Superfino rice, with very big and pearled grain. Very much used to prepare risotto. It takes its name from the place near Vercelli, in the Po valley, called Arborio, where this variety has been selected.

Rich in amylose, it has a good baking strength and binds a lot. For this reason, it is recommended for stuffed or sweet arancini, for whisked risotto and timbale.
